What it does
Journal opens on today. The first time you open a day, its date is written as the heading. It uses the same editor as Notes, stores entries separately, and is the one app that asks for your PIN every time it opens, even from a boot that restores it.
Home shows a ! on Journal when today has no entry yet.
Keys

Marks from glasses
With Link paired, marks stamped from the glasses menu, such as "shift start" or "walk", are filed into today's page as lines with a time and a place. If today's page is open, they appear in the editor.
Sync
Entries sync one way to inbox/pennyos/journal/, a separate folder from notes. The gate allows exactly those two inbox folders and refuses a push anywhere else.
